Our Commitment to You

The Office of Veterans Affairs at the University of Tennessee is grateful to be able to serve students who have served in the United States Armed Forces and are now attending college using the Montgomery GI Bill or VA Vocational Rehabilitation. We are also here to assist the dependents and/or spouses of deceased or disabled soldiers through Dependents Educational Assistance. You have protected our freedom and we are here to help you get a better education.

This website has been designed to assist you in the process of using your VA Education Benefits. On the left side, you will find links that will address any topic that relates to the use of VA Education Benefits from Getting Started to Maintaining Your Benefits.

It is highly recommended that you thoroughly read the student responsibilities page and follow the checklist that pertains to the benefit that you wish to use before completing any VA paperwork.

Failure to complete the appropriate forms may result in a delay in your benefits.
Please contact our office - Jayetta Rogers, VA Assistant, utkva@utk.edu or 865/974-1500 if you should have any questions.
