1. Program articulations are effective for four years from the date of original entry into collegiate level work at the articulating two-year college. If more than four years elapse, the agreement in place at that time will determine the student's status. Students will have an additional four years at the University of Tennessee to complete the undergraduate curriculum. If more than four years lapse, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville curriculum in place at that time will determine the student's status.
   
   
2. Transfer students to University of Tennessee, Knoxville from two-year institutions must complete 60 semester hours at a senior institution.
   


3. The final 30 semester hours must be completed in residence at University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
   


4. The awarding or use of any nontraditional credit (e.g. CLEP, AP, IEP, credit-by-exam, military services, etc.) must be approved by the degree-granting institution.
   


5. When students enter the University of Tennessee, they must meet the standards and follow the procedures outlined in the University's current Undergraduate Catalog.
   


6. In addition to the specific course requirements for a bachelor's degree, all transfer students must satisfy any specific program, major, degree requirement, or academic regulation that might be required for progression to or retention in a specific program as well as all of the university's requirements for graduation. (Completion of an articulation agreement does not guarantee admission to a particular program.
   
   
7. Students whose native language is not English may complete the foreign language requirement by completing the English Composition requirement and any two-course literature sequence.



8. The articulation agreement must be completed prior to admission to University of Tennessee, Knoxville in any classification (degree, non-degree, visiting)
   
   
9. Transfer students in articulated programs must have a grade of "C" or better in freshman composition.
   
   
10. Articulation is not automatic. Agreements must be signed by student and is only valid for the major stated on the articulation agreement.
    


11. Transfer credit for D's are granted as part of a completed articulation agreement.



12. No students shall be eligible to participate in the articulation agreements if they have attempted more than 12 college-level hours at any college or university other than the articulating community college.



13. Honors courses, enriched versions of traditional courses, may be used to satisfy course requirements listed in the agreement



14. All students must have am minimum of 60 transferable credit hours to receive the associate degree.



15. RODP courses do not always mirror the content of similar UT courses; always check with your academic advisor at your TBR school or a UT transfer evaluator before enrolling in a RODP course.
